And then there are four.

Former UP men's basketball team guard Jaydee Tungcab finally made the final lineup of the Gilas Pilipinas squad that will battle Thailand Monday evening in Manama, Bahrain, for the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers.

The 6-foot-3 versatile wingman, who was a key factor in the Fighting Maroons' postseason runs in the past two UAAP seasons, shall don the national colors for the first time, as first reported on Tiebreaker Times.

Tungcab and NCAA Season 95 Most Valuable Player Calvin Oftana replaced Ateneo Blue Eagles' William Navarro and Mike Nieto.

With this development, Tungcab joins fellow first-timer Javi Gomez De Liaño along with UAAP Season 80 Rookie of the Year Juan Gomez De Liaño and UAAP Season 82 Mythical Team member Kobe Paras in the national squad.

The Philippines looks to stay undefeated in Group A of the qualifiers when they take on the Thais at 9 p.m. (Manila time) on Monday. Gilas dominated the same team, 93–61 just last Friday.
